Huntington Asset Services offers advisors two options. The first allows you to start the fund independently and serve as the fund sponsor. In doing so, you initially select the trustees and underlying service providers, including legal counsel, auditor, custodian, transfer agent, fund accountant, administrator, distributor, etc. The second option allows you, as the advisor, to create the portfolio within an existing trust.
This scenario is often referred to as a Series Trust where all of the related service functions are in place. From our standpoint, it makes no difference which option you select. However, the Series Trust option likely provides you with the least expensive and easiest way to accomplish your objectives. As we go about discussing your plans, service requirements, and related expense illustrations, we can help you make an informed decision and determine what works best for you.
